TriboDyn Tri-Guard 4046 ISO 46 Rotary Screw Synthetic Compressor Oil is a non-detergent PAO synthetic oil designed for use in a wide variety of rotary screw air compressors. TriboDyn Tri-Guard 4046 Rotary Screw Synthetic Compressor Oil is used where maximum seal, paint, plastic, and rubber compatibility is required and when an excellent resistance to corrosion is needed.
Exclusive Additives
Get maximum performance from your air compressor with TriboDyn 4046. This synthetic oil has been engineered with an exclusive additive package to resist thermal breakdown and oxidation which can lessen the effectiveness of oil and shorten pump life.
The additives in TriboDyn 4046 also provides increased resistance to foaming which can lower the film strength of oil and lead to pump wear. This oil has been shown to provide enhanced resistance to varnish at higher temperatures and is engineered to protect equipment against airborne contaminants.
Applications: TriboDyn Tri-Guard 4046 Rotary Screw Synthetic Compressor Oil is designed for rotary screw air compressors that require an ISO 46 non-detergent compressor oil. Oil life is dependent on operating conditions and maintenance practices – a regular oil analysis program is recommended.
Under normal operating conditions you can expect extended drain cycles and experience up to 10,000 hours of use.
