EXTREME PRESSURE 250W Gear Oil
Advanced engineered gear lubricant for Racing Differentials, Rock Crawlers, off-road enthusiast, and heavy duty equipment. These types of applications require lubrication that is stronger than normal lubricants can provide. Extreme pressures, rpms, and temperatures can cause lesser oils to fail resulting in damage to expensive gearboxes.
TriboDyn 250W Gear Lube is made from SYNTHETIC base oils. Synthetic base oils contain a uniform molecular structure that provides the oil excellent fluidity at extreme temperatures without producing power-robbing internal drag.
In extreme applications with high G-forces oil can be flung off gears, leaving metal unprotected. Sling off can also occur when gearboxes are run at sharp angles during off roading. You need a gear oil that clings to metal surfaces to prevent metal-on-metal wear of expensive gearboxes. TriboDyn 250W EP Differential Lube BONDS a layer of oil to the metal surfaces that does not sling-off. This bonded layer of oil also provides protection at start-up when other oils have drained away leaving your gearbox exposed.
Film strength is critical for gear oil to provide the layer of cushioning between gears. Without this layer, friction occurs between metal surfaces. Friction raises temperatures, can break down oil, and results in poor performance and metal damage. TriboDyn SAE 250W cushions metal surfaces and absorbs the impact of moving parts, protecting gears against wear in extreme conditions.
Read how TriboDyn tested #1 for film strength against the best oils in the world in independent university testing.
TriboDyn takes protection to another level by releasing a thin, ceramic film directly on the metal inside your gearbox. This ceramic film works with the synthetic oil to provide unmatched protection against shock, load, and sheering forces in extreme applications.
This ceramic film has been shown to fill in and repair scratches, pits, and scoring left on metal surfaces from previous damage. By leaving metal smoother friction is reduced and gearboxes perform more efficiently.
